1950 - Born Auckland, New Zealand.

1968 - Completed Secondary Education, Mt. Albert Grammar, Auckland.

1972 - Completed Tertiary Education, Univ. N.S.W., Sydney. B.Sc. (Hons).

1976 - Work as Research Chemist, Wool Research Org., Christchurch.

1977 - Began painting and carving wood and bone.
Established first jade carving workshop, Mt Albert, Auckland.

1978 - Moved to Parnell Workshops.

1979 - Moved workshop to Waiwera, North Auckland.
First stone prospecting trip to South Island.

1980 - Travelled to South Island with Floating World Workshop.
Worked at Coromandel, Rotoiti, Mangamahu, Mapua, Greymouth, Whangamoa.

1981 - Returned to Auckland. Established Relux Institute.

1982 - Worked at Relux Institute.
Received Arts Council Major Project Grant.

1983 - Established Enigma Studio, Ponsonby, Auckland.

1984 - Worked at Enigma Studio.
Prospecting trip to South Island for argillite.
Received Arts Council Travel Grant.

1985 - Worked at Enigma Studio.
Travelled to museums in N.Z. to research argillite artefacts.
Curated Pakohe exhibition for Dowse Art Museum.
Received Arts Council Travel Grant.

1986 - Worked at Enigma Studio.
Gave N.Z. Survey Lecture, J&MGA Conference, Perth, Australia.
Attended first Stone Sculpture Symposium, Western Springs, Auckland.
Prospecting trip to Australia for Black Jade.
Travelled to China, Taiwan, Korea with Russell Beck studying jade sources.

1987 - Worked at Enigma Studio.

1989 - Moved workshop to temporary accomodation in Grey Lynn, Auckland.

1990 - Moved workshop to temporary shed at Karekare.
Built stone carving workshop.
Received Arts Council Access Workshop Grant.

1991 - Attended opening of Bone Stone Shell, Kyoto, Japan.
Helped build glass workshop for Ann Robinson at Karekare.

1992 - Finished all buildings at Karekare.
Began carving after three years establishing at Karekare.
Started working with granite in constructions with glass and metal.

1993 - Prospecting trip to South Island for stone.
Travelled in Australia and Indonesia.
Curated N.Z. Tour of my exhibition Making Amends.

1994 - Travelled to all venues to install Making Amends.
Prospecting trip to South Island for stone.
Research trip to North Cape, New Zealand.
Began work with chemical patination of metals.

1995 - Making Amends completes N.Z. Tour at Auckland Museum.
Purchased graphics capable computer with multimedia extensions.
Continued patinae experiments on larger scale.
Travelled to Dunedin for opening of Badge exhibition at Fluxus.
Gave paper at Humanz conference Fragments and Fusions, National Library, Wellington.
Started work in marble and granite for Cross Country exhibition.

2000 - Designed "McLeod's Crossing" bridge for Waitakere City.

2001 - Worked on altered stones for Sum and Calculus exhibitions.

2002 - Public and private commissions.

2003 - Worked on granite sculptures for Flags and Phases.

2004 - Travelled in India.
Designed artificial climbing wall for Waitakere Trusts Stadium.
Completed granite sculpture Transformer for Auckland Domain

2005 Traveled in Scotland collecting granite and researching sculpture project.
Designed New Zealand War Memorial for Korea (with Fred Graham).
Established Wairau Sculpture Workshop in Glendene, Waitakere City.

2006 Made Transformer for Waitakere City.
Made 30 inlaid granite seats for Queen Street, Auckland.

2007 Establish Avenger Workshops, Glendene, Waitakere City.
